WebDec 1, 2015 · This paper aims to fill that gap, by presenting a framework for developing business models for IoT applications. The framework is created based on a literature survey into existing business model frameworks and subsequently adapting these frameworks based on interviews in 11 companies that develop IoT applications. WebAbstract. The recent discourse on IOT (Internet of Things) has emphasized technology and different technology layers. Currently, there is a pressing need for research into the emerging IOT ecosystems from the business perspective. This is due to their promise to create new business models, improve business processes, and reduce costs and risks.
